San Juan boy dies while getting help for family after rollover crash A 7-year-old San Juan boy died Thursday after flagging down help for his grandparents who were involved in a rollover crash. The boy, identified as Joey Garza, was ejected from a truck on I-84 in Elder County, Utah, according to Utah Highway Patrol. The grandfather "drifted off the roadway, over-corrected and rolled," according to a news release. Garza was able to flag down two drivers who stopped at the scene. Witnesses told state police the boy had a seizure and was not breathing after he collapsed. Garza's grandmother sustained critical injuries to her head and was airlifted to a Utah hospital. The 10-year-old girl sitting in the backseat and the 66-year-old man who was driving were not seriously injured.
